A useful reporting system should make the next steps understandable without exposing private moderation details.

    Your report is recorded and you receive confirmation that it was submitted.

    ReviewedAgainst specific standards

    Relevant context is assessed against the community guidelines, account history and the seriousness of the concern.

    The response may include a warning, feature restriction, account suspension or permanent removal.

    CommunicatedWithout compromising privacy

    You are told when the review is complete, even when another member’s private account details cannot be shared.

    Repeated patterns should improve moderation guidance, safety controls and the way Speak is designed.

Fairness works in both directions.

Moderation needs trained judgement, consistent records and a route for appeal when a decision may be wrong.
