1. Who is responsible
Language Learners Hub is the working name of the organisation responsible for deciding how personal information is used. The final notice must provide the controller’s complete legal identity and postal address. Privacy enquiries can be sent to info@languagelearnershub.com.
2. Information we collect
Depending on the services used, LLH may process account and profile details, contact enquiries, language preferences and learning activity, messages and submitted content, reports and moderation records, subscription and transaction references, device and log data, cookie choices and communications preferences.
The production data map must identify which information Tutor and Speak collect, whether conversation content is stored or used to improve AI systems, and whether location, voice, special-category or children’s data is involved.
3. Why we use information and our lawful bases

Each purpose and lawful basis must be confirmed through a data audit. Where legitimate interests are used, LLH must identify those interests and assess their impact on people.
5. How long information is kept
Information should be kept only for as long as needed for the stated purpose, legal obligations, security, disputes and legal claims. The final schedule must give specific periods or clear criteria for accounts, conversations, contact messages, reports, backups, analytics and transaction records.
6. Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to be informed, access your information, correct it, erase it, restrict its use, object to processing and receive portable data. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Rights vary with the lawful basis and may have legal exceptions.
Requests can be made through the contact page. LLH may need information to verify identity and should normally respond within the legally required period.
7. Children and age assurance
The minimum age, audience and parental-consent approach for Tutor and Speak must be confirmed before accounts launch. The final notice must explain child-friendly information, safeguards, profiling, moderation and parental rights where children’s data is processed.
8. Security, automated decisions and changes
LLH uses proportionate organisational and technical measures intended to protect personal information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. The final notice must explain any solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects, including meaningful information about their logic and consequences, or clearly state that none occur.
This notice should be updated when practices change. Significant changes should be brought to affected people’s attention.
